Pomegranate Oil
Pomegranate oil contains a high concentration of the antioxidant, Ellagic acid, which helps to fight UV damage, lightening and brightening dull and hyperpigmented skin. Of all fruit and vegetables, Pomegranate oil also has the highest concentration of punicic acid, which is rich in omega 5 fatty acids. This promotes cell regeneration, and stimulates collagen and elastin production, reducing wrinkles and sagging.
Red Raspberry Seed Oil
Red Raspberry Seed oil has high concentrations of linoleic and alpha-linoleic acids – which are rich in omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids. It also has high levels of vitamin E and phytosterols. This means that Red Raspberry Seed oil improves the skin’s natural defences and repairs environmental damage, enabling it to lock in moisture more effectively. It improves the elasticity and softness of the skin, decreasing sagging and wrinkles. It also has strong anti-inflammatory properties, so is suitable for sensitive skin.
Carrot Seed Oil
Rich in provitamin A, beta-carotene, and vitamins C and E, Carrot Seed oil repairs signs of aging and provides protection against further damage. Carrot Seed oil is also is high in linoleic acid, which stimulates cell regeneration and promotes healthy cell activity.
Rosehip Oil
Rosehip oil is one of the best oils for mature skin. It is the only plant oil to contain Tretinoin, a powerful form of Vitamin A, and also is high in vitamins C, E and F. Vitamins C and A stimulate collagen production, reducing the formation of fine lines and wrinkles, and repairing scars and damaged skin. Vitamins F and A improve overall skin tone and texture. Its high linoleic acid content assists with cellular regeneration and repairs UV damage.
Evening Primrose Oil
Linoleic acid and gamma-linoleic acid (GLA) are critical for healthy skin as they are building blocks of skin cells. Together they. are needed to maintain the integrity of the skin water barrier system. Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil
Sea buckthorn seed oil is a wonder oil, containing high levels of vitamins A, E & C, as well as omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 fatty acids. It nourishes and regenerates skin cells, hydrates the skin and helps retain moisture. It also softens and smoothes the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Sea buckthorn is also anti-inflammatory so it soothes dry and irritated skin. And because it has a high antioxidant content, it helps to fight the signs of ageing.
Avocado Oil
Avocado oil has a high oleic acid content (up to 70%), a source of omega-9 fatty acids. It penetrates easily and deeply into the skin’s layers, replenishing moisture and preventing its loss. Avocado oil is highly nourishing. It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, D and E, as well as many minerals including magnesium, potassium and calcium. It promotes healing and repair of skin cells, providing protection against wrinkles and the elements.
Camelia Oil
Camelia oil is also very high in oleic acid (up to 80%) and contains vitamins A, B and E; hence, it is easily absorbed and has skin cell regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties.
Peach Kernel Oil
Peach kernel oil is great for sensitive, mature skin types. It is high in oleic acid (up to 75%) and nourishes, softens and smooths the skin.
